Doug Bost's plays and one-acts including The Honeymoon Story, Inappropriate Behavior, Turpentine Twist and Victoria's Other Secret, among others, have been presented at theaters from New York to Los Angeles. Audio versions of select titles have been broadcast on National Public Radio and were part of the BBC International Radio Play competition. His play, The Lincolnshire Poacher, will be published in Play in 2006.

Doug co-wrote Kubuku Rides, a short film directed by Terry Kinney; it is the first film produced by Steppenwolf Films (a division of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater) and was shown at the 2006 IFP Film Festival in New York, the Los Angeles Int'l Film Festival, and the London Film Festival. Doug's first short film, Focus Group, adapted from his play by the same name, won a Gold Remi Award for Comedy at Worldfest Houston 2005.

His short stories about growing up in Maine in the 1970's have been published in Portland Magazine, and are currently being assembled for a full-length book.

Doug's award-winning screenplay, These 2 Men Are Imposters, is the reasonably true story of Coyle and Sharpe, and he would love to talk to you about it.

Doug is a graduate of NYU's Dramatic Writing Program.
