Steph Green

Steph Green is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker and commercial director, who was selected as one of Creativity Magazine’s “Top Directors to Watch” and Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film.”

Prior to its Academy Award nomination for Best Short, her film NEW BOY won accolades at over thirty festivals worldwide, including the Tribeca Film Festival. Her debut feature, RUN & JUMP, was developed at the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriter’s Lab, and starred Will Forte, Maxine Peake, and Edward MacLiam. Variety described RUN & JUMP as “irresistible to American and European audiences” for its “reserves of strength and joie de vivre,” as well as its “remarkable warmth and immediacy.” The film was distributed in North America by IFC/Sundance Selects and was released in 2014.

For her commercial work, Green has won a Gold ICAD Bell from the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design, and was honored at the Cannes Lions and Young Guns Advertising Festivals.

Most recently, she directed an episode of FX’s THE AMERICANS and is currently in production directing an episode of ABC’s SCANDAL. She will also direct an upcoming episode of CBS’s AMERICAN GOTHIC
